Central Jamia Masjid

Our range of welded mesh storage products has been utilised in a wide range of applications over the years.

So when we were approached regarding the mesh storage of footwear at this West London mosque, weld mesh was an obvious solution.

The large number of worshipers arriving at this popular mosque for Friday Prayers provided the Trustees with the problem of storing hundreds of pairs of shoes tidily and safely. The shoes also needed to be protected from the elements in an entrance lobby restricted in size, whilst keeping the area free at all other times.

Solution – a number of large mobile shoe racks, enclosed and galvanised, that could be stored externally away from the entrance lobby and bought into use only when required.

Our bespoke design service  concluded that trolleys, manufactured from welded mesh on a steel rod framework, and  mounted on a sturdy steel sub-frame with heavy duty castors provided the best solution.

Each unit was hot dipped galvanized to BS EN ISO 1461:2009 for protection by our sister company Arkinstall Galvanizing Ltd.

Since undertaking the Southall project Arkinstall has provided a tidy solution to footwear storage  using mesh and timber products in places of worship in all corners of the UK.

Our range of mesh products can be powder coated to compliment the surrounding décor for internal storage or Bright Zinc Plated or Galvanised for external applications.

Our 30 series benches  are an ideal choice to accompany these products.
