Incorporated in 1920 Arkinstall Brothers based in Birmingham’s Digbeth area were ‘manufacturers of every description of sheet iron goods’ and ‘galvanisers to the trade’. Their patented ‘Simplex Cinder Sifter’ provided a 1920’s solution to recycling fire cinders for re-use!!!
With the acquisition of school furniture manufacturers, Brown Brothers Limited in the mid 1950’s our true history began.
Since then Arkinstall has established itself as a trusted supplier of bespoke changing room and specialist storage systems to a wide range of customer sectors including education, leisure, retail and emergency services to name a few. Whether working direct with the end user or alongside an architect or main contractor we offer the same professional service throughout the supply process.
With a real focus on customer satisfaction we aim to use or years of experience to supply our clients with a quality product, on time and on time. After close to 100 years we have come back to our roots with our group H.Q. now in Digbeth, just a few minutes’ walk from where it all began.
